How it works

From your first quote to a recorded payment.

001Setup

Add your business once.

Add your business details, logo and bank account, plus your VAT number if registered. You can update these later in Settings.

002Create

Create an invoice or quote first.

Pick a customer, add your work and choose VAT or not. Start with a quotation when you need approval; convert it to an invoice draft when accepted.

003Send

Email it or share it yourself.

Email the document from SettleMe, or choose Open Your WhatsApp to review the recipient and send the link yourself. Your customer needs no app or account.

Common questions, South African answers.

Yes. When you add your VAT number, invoices carry everything SARS requires of a valid tax invoice: your name, address and VAT number, the client's details, invoice number, date, the VAT clearly broken out at 15%, and the totals. SettleMe checks before sending and won't issue a tax invoice with those details missing, including the client's address on anything above R5 000. No VAT number? You'll send clean, compliant non-VAT invoices instead.
By EFT, the way most South African businesses already pay. Your banking details sit clearly on every invoice, and your client pays into your account directly. SettleMe never sits between you and your money.
